Putting on make up can be very hard because it can either help or ruin your make-up look that you are trying to go for… I say it needs to match your outfit, and needs to highlight your eye make up. If you are going for red lipstick, don’t put on some crazy eye make-up… contrast the red lip-stick with a darker, nude eye shadow.. and don’t wear rainbow colored clothes.

I only use lipstick when I go out about once a month or so but these tips are great. I have never thought of a sealant before. Would be great to stop leaving stains on my glassware! Does anyone have any recommended brands of sealants that they have found worked the best?

Great tips! I have been brushing my lips with a toothbrush to create a ‘better base’ and this works so well. My lips are so soft and using blush on top really makes the color stick; I haven’t had to touch up 🙂

Thanks for the tips! Lipstick is my number makeup item, yet I find I have trouble with it at times. I don’t like how it wears off throughout the day so the sealant sounds like a perfect solution to my problem.

Lipstick is one of those types of makeup that girls need to be careful with. I see a lot of women wearing far too much, or they use colors which aren’t suited for their skin tone.

This is what I need to inform my girlfriend, to put on a sealant after she applies her lipstick. After meals her lipstick is all over the place and even on the cup she drinks from. So much so that she has to re-do her lipstick after every meal.
