Be Bold With a Crisp Cat’s Eye

For the past few years, the smokey eye has ruled. If you want to fight past the haze of that trend, be bold and go for a sharp, defined cat’s eye! This look will make your eyes pop with a sharp look that will cut through the smokey fog. Here’s how to get started!

Grab the following:
1. Cream Eye Shadow
2. Brow Mascara/Glue
3. Angled Eyeliner Brush
4. Mascara

Arches at the ready!
Okay, first things first. You need to sculpt your eyebrows. If your brows are on fleek, it will guide people’s sight towards your perfect eye. Grab your Brow Mascara and tame those beasts, if you need to.

Sweep and Cut
Now take your dark cream eyeshadow and angled eyeliner brush and draw an low angled triangle shape over your eye. Think of it as drawing a low ramp over your eye, pointing out towards your temples. Take a look and sculpt the shape to follow the angle of your brow. This will give you a nice, clean sharp look.

Flip Out!
Once you have cut your perfect eye shadow shape, you’re going to want to give it wings! Take your mascara and sweep those beauties out to top off your perfect, sexy eye.

This is really helpful because I’m on a dance team at my school and we have to put on glam make up for our performances and that cat eye effect looks sooo good.

I’ve worked in the Industry for a number of years and it really needs to be said that articles like this are like Gold Dust to people staring out. A really good read, thanks.

Very informative article. I know my girlfriend is very conscious about the way she looks, especially when we go out for dinner or something like that. I am thinking of recommending this article to her so that she can confidently do her make up.

This is such a useful article for eye makeup. I am too much into Eye Makeup and people do often ask me how to go about it.On regular days i prefer keeping it simple with maskara and Kajal/Eyeliner.

Recently most of the functions and occasions I have attended my Eye Makeup was smoky.
Next time surely i am gonna try Cat’s Eye .:)

If you don’t want to use a cream shadow, foiling a fairly soft eyeshadow is also an easy way to get this look to work. Still, it’s a very nice change from the smoky eye that has become so routine.

Thank you for this! I didn’t think we had any cream shadow laying around, and I wanted to show my girlfriend this post. Now I don’t have to go out and buy some cream shadow, haha! Thank you!!!!

cat eye makeup is one of the sexiest! I see you recommend the cream eye shadow, I personally use a soft dark pencil as I think it gives more definition and last longer
